We started our business in 2023 with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable dining experience to the Ystradgynlais area. Thanks to our experience and dedication, we’ve managed to become masters of the craft. Providing dishes that are fresh, hearty and simply unforgettable.

Pictons is situated in the heart of Ystradgynlais, conveniently located between the Brecon Beacons and Swansea and in close proximity to the M4 Corridor.

A family run business; 3rd generation from the beautiful town of Ystradgynlais which was once well known for being a mining town but is now a popular holiday destination and vibrant town, with an abundance of quirky gift shops, bars, cafes, its own cinema, takeaways, convenience shops, a post office, hand car wash, car park, tattoo parlour, hairdressing & nail salons, barbers and more!

There is really something for everyone; for the walking enthusiasts, Ystradgynlais has several walking routes including the popular route to the infamous Sleeping Giant of the Cribbarth Mountain, overlooking neighbouring Abercraf (Abercrave).
